Mid Market Report:
- Markets are consolidating as expected.
- Markets are not falling when global cues are bad.
- But they rise when global cues are good.
- Japan is at 6 months low, Nasdaq's fall was worst since 2011. Yet we did not fall much.
- Europe opened lower by 0.75% to 1%.
- It will interesting to see where the markets close.
- IIP data after the markets close, Infosys results before markets open on Tuesday, Monday holiday, Bad global cues, Good FII and DII buying all will affect the markets in the last one to two hours.
- As we have mentioned, Nifty future should close above 6780 in order to be positive.
- Since the US markets fell sharply, it may stabilise today.
- No change in our view about Nifty levels for today.
