Post Market Report:

  1. Markets broke out once again.
  2. We expected some consolidation between 6780 and 6820.
  3. But it broke that range very fast.
  4. We have been mentioning that after consolidation, markets will ultimately break out.
  5. Banking and Realty stocks shot up.
  6. IT stocks are down.
  7. Europe opened positive at 12.30 pm.
  8. Then after that our markets just moved in one direction.
  9. If the momentum continues, 7000 will be touched before May 16.
  10. FIIs have bought for Rs 1044 crores and DIIs have sold for Rs 464 crores.
  11. We do not know how much more shorts are there in the system.
  12. But Nifty is likely to keep the upward momentum.

  3. First, it is difficult to predict. Last two days, DII selling was more than FII buying, so the markets came down. Yesterday FII buying was much more than DII selling, so markets went up. Unless you are a GOD, all others are just predictions only, so what you say will happen or not, it is just probability. Even technical analysts view can go wrong, that is why the word "Stop Loss" is still living.
Second, we are afraid of giving our view. People take some positions and then when our views go wrong, they ask us. We never suggest people to take positions based on our view. In fact we do not take any positions based on our market view.
Third, anybody can give view, but not the time frame. For example, if I say, Bank Nifty will reach 13500, if you buy some call option, still you may end up loosing, if that level is reached slowly, or it is reached one or two days after expiry.
If you see all our Weekly Strategies, we never take directional view. Yet we are making very good money.
When you can make money with very low risk, why should you take directional view and loose money if the view goes wrong.
I do not know what is your objective of asking this question. I assumed that you are interested in going long or buying some calls. If that is the case, we are not right people to ask for suggestion. We never buy options and we never go long in the market.
All I can tell you is that Bank Nifty will not fall below 12000 and will not rise above 13700, so we have sold both the options. Things may change in next few days, our view may go wrong, we will take some remedial measures at that time so safeguard our profits. This is how we work.
