Dalal Street Week Ahead:
- Last week markets fell in all trading sessions.
- Still Nifty was in the range of 6500 and 6900 as predicted by us.
- But volatility has increased.
- There were days Bank Nifty swung by more than 1000 points and Nifty swung by more than 100 points.
- Next week also it going to be the same.
- VIX is likely to shoot up to 40.
- Next week will be full of speculation.
- The following week Monday, exit poll results will be out, so the markets will get little more clarity about election outcome.
- On Monday, Manufacturing PMI from China and US are due. Services PMI will be due from India.
- There are no other important events during the week.
- There are few events of less importance like Fed Chairman Yellen's speech, export import data from India on Friday, China Services PMI etc are due.
- HDFC, Ranbaxy, Lupin, Glenmark and few smaller banks will declare results.
- But all these are not important as the markets will swing widely due to low volume and high speculation.
- Though markets are highly volatile, still Nifty is expected to trade between 6500 and 6900.
- But option premiums are likely to shoot up.
