Pre Market Report, January 15, 2016

Pre Market Report:


  1. As usual US markets were highly volatile.
  2. Dow opened about 75 points lower then shot up about 400 points from intraday low and then closed about 225 points higher.
  3. Asian markets are mixed, China and Hong Kong are down while most other markets are up.
  4. SGX Nifty also had a wild swing of about 100 points.
  5. SGX Nifty traded at a low of 7480 yesterday night and high of 7580 today morning.
  6. But now it is trading at 7550.
  7. Our markets may trade with slight positive bias until afternoon.
  8. Today's last one hour of trade is very important.
  9. There may be a sharp movement either on the downside or on the upside.
  10. There will be a sharp downside move if FIIs continue to sell taking the opportunity of positive cues.
  11. Or there may be a sharp up move if there is any short covering by the traders, if no selling comes until 2.30 pm.
  12. First one hour of trade is for amateurs and last one hour hour of trade is for professionals.
  13. So be ready for roller coaster ride once again.
  14. We will be happy if VIX comes down.
  15. The premiums are very high despite we have only 9 more trading sessions.
  16. After today there will be only 8 trading sessions as there is one public holiday.
