Weekly Options in Bank Nifty | Stocks and Commodities

Weekly Options in Bank Nifty:

1. NSE is introducing Weekly Options in Bank Nifty from May 27.
2. There will be 7 weekly options, excluding the monthly option, available for trading.
3. Weekly options will expire on every Thursday.
4. Earlier BSE introduced Weekly options in Sensex.
5. But the volume did not pick up.
6. We have to wait and see whether the volume picks up or not.
7. Nifty options are more liquid than Bank Nifty options, then why Weekly options are introduced only in Bank Nifty, not in Nifty?
8. That is a strange, only NSE will have to explain this.
9. It is surprising that SEBI has given approval without asking these questions.
10. Anyway this is good only for those who have lot of collateral with exchange to make small money or expiry day traders.
11. We will wait and see how the volume picks up.
12. If there is a good volume, then NSE may introduce Nifty Weekly options in future.
