Pre Market Report, April 13, 2018

Pre Market Report:


  1. After few months of high volatility every day, US markets traded for two consecutive days without volatility.
  2. Asian markets are mostly trading with positive bias.
  3. SGX Nifty crossed 10500 but now trading almost flat.
  4. Yesterday Nifty moved with some momentum after crossing 50 day moving average.
  5. Volatility is also going down.
  6. IIP and Inflation data came as expected.
  7. There was no negative surprise.
  8. HDFC Bank did well yesterday and that was the main reason why bank Nifty did well yesterday.
  9. IT stocks were up ahead of Infosys results today evening.
  10. FIIs bought in Cash market while DIIs sold.
  11. FIIs were positive in F&O market also.
  12. Our markets may consolidate today and there may be some sharp move towards the end of the day.
  13. Crude oil corrected a bit.
  14. So Auto stocks may come under focus today.
  15. The trend will be set in the next two weeks based on corporate results.
  16. Today Infosys comes with results after the market hours.
  17. Next set of results will start from next Thursday.
  18. So only last few days of this expiry will see action.
  19. Until then any dip is a buying opportunity.
  20. Nifty future may trade between 10420 and 10520.

  3. TODAY LATEST NEWSBenchmark indices closed in the green for the eighth consecutive session, with the Sensex rising 112.78 points to 34,305.43 and the Nifty gaining 47.80 points at 10,528.40.
    Cipla, Grasim Industries and UPL rallied up to 5 percent.
